Sadly, I lost Uno February 2016.  

Thank you to everyone who bred to him and bought his babies.

 

This remarkable ​stallion stands just over 16h and is absolutely STUNNING! 

 

Uno is the son of the approved stallion Wicher and out of a Ster Preferent Bendert mare, and has only Ster or better in his pedigree for 5 generations.  He is homozygous for the black gene.

Uno moves with  HUGE and powerful drive, his trot shows suspension, elevation and impulsion and his canter was rated very highly at his inspection!  While more modern in build, Uno has a lovely short, strong back, short cannons and tremendous bone. 

 

For those who like big friesian hair, Uno has copious amounts of both mane and tail, and significant curly feathering.  His mane and tail grow extremely quickly as well.  Uno stays shiny black year round, and he lives outside in the hot Sacramento sun.

 

Uno can be bred via shipped semen or on site A.I.  The quality of Uno's semen is very good and shows a high rate of progressive motility even after cooling for 48 hours.
